We all want great stories from Disney that are diverse. But, woke-washing everything is an appeasement and lazy approach. Why not look to other cultures from their amazing stories for new ideas instead of ruining the classics on one hand (most remakes have tanked) and using characters we’ve grown to know to virtue signal through a pallet change.
More Tiana, Mulan, Moana, Jasmine, etc. More Encanto, Coco, etc. that offer diversity that also brings cultural diversity instead of changing characters to generate a false equality.
